Effortless Elegance: A Simple and Stunning Holiday Tablescape
As the holiday season is here, there's something magical about gathering around a beautifully set table with loved ones. This year, I wanted a simple yet elegant way to create the perfect holiday tablescape using items you probably already have around your home. With just a few easy steps, you can transform your dining area into the perfect place for family to gather.
Creating the Tablescape:
For this tablescape, you can try searching outside for some fresh free greenery, check at your local hardware store for some free greenery scraps (they usually have them from where they sell Christmas trees), or you can purchase some at your hardware store too!
Here's what you'll need:
1. A platter
2. Three different kinds of greenery: juniper, cedar, blue spruce
3. A foam block (make sure it absorbs water, so that your greenery will stay alive longer)
4. Two candlesticks and holders
5. Two small LED houses
6. A handful of LED twigs for that extra flair
Instructions:
1. Begin by placing the foam block on your platter. This will be the anchor for your beautiful arrangement.
2. Trim the greenery into manageable pieces and stick them into the foam block. Mix and match the different types for a visually appealing look.
3. Next, position your candlesticks and holders on top of the foam block. This creates height and adds a touch of warmth to the arrangement.
4. Place the LED houses around the foam block for a charming holiday village effect.
5. To finish off, insert the LED twigs strategically, allowing them to peek out from the greenery.
Perfect! You've just created an effortlessly elegant holiday tablescape that is perfect for the holidays. Not to mention, the perfect fresh holiday smell it adds.
This holiday season, embrace the joy of simplicity by creating a tablescape that's as easy as it is elegant. With just a few items, and a touch of creativity, you can set the stage for memorable gatherings and festive feasts. Wishing you a season filled with warmth, laughter, and the simple beauty of the holidays!
