Valentine’s Day Charcuterie & Mocktail’s

Valentine's Day is the perfect occasion to get creative with some fun food displays! This year I decided to make not only make a Valentine’s Day themed Charcuterie Board but, a Mocktail that is the perfect fun compliment. I decided to incorporate some fun little V-Day themed twists to add to it! The fun part about creating a charcuterie board is you can mix it up and just get creative. I love how they can be as simple or extravagant as you want it.

Ingredients:

Charcuterie Board:

  • Salami

  • Spicy Mini Pepperoni

  • Rosemary

  • Raspberries

  • Blackberries

  • Strawberries

  • Babybel Cheese

  • Brie Cheese

  • White Cheddar Block

  • Ritz Crackers

  • Round Seasoned Crackers

  • Pink Chocolate Melts

  • Nutella

  • Heart Shaped Cookie Cutter

  • Serving Platter & Utensils

Mocktail:

  • Sprite

  • Raspberry Cotton Candy

  • Pink Sprinkles

  • Pink Chocolate Melts

  • Cute Serving Glasses

Some of the fun unique things I decided to add was:

1. Heart-shaped cheeses:

I started by taking out Babybel, Brie Cheese’s, and two different sizes of heart shaped cookie cutters. I took out my cheese and cut it using the cookie cutter to add some cute heart details!

2. White chocolate-covered crackers:

I decided to add in a fun pop of pink and dip my ritz crackers into some pink chocolate melts.

3. Salami hearts:

Salami Hearts are so easy and fun to add to your board and take up a good bit of space being the perfect filler. I took a champagne flute and started with three pieces and kept building on top of each piece until the center opening became smaller and we flipped it directly on the board!

4. Add in the rest of our garnishes:

Then I placed the remaining pieces on the heart shaped board to make it scream Valentine’s Day.

5. Creating our complementary Mocktail:

For this simple addition I melted our pink chocolate and dipped the rim of our glass in it and then immediately dipped the glass with the chocolate still melted into a pile of pink sprinkles. From there I took a skewer and put cotton candy on it then placed it one the top of the rim and poured some sprite over top of it melting our cotton candy making a fun sugary drink.

This fun little food DIY is the perfect thing to add to your date night or even your galantine’s party. I hope you’re able to get creative when looking for inspo for your next Valentine’s Day occasion!

XOXO - Amanda
